    I think this could be the downfall....
    Inner wheel will spin out, outer wheel will engage and with both wheels engaged it'll do a 180 if you're putting down too much power....

    You'll need some diagonal bracing though to stop the whole thing twisting and folding up like garden chair.
    Or put a few welds on each corner.

    You'd be surprised at how strong the 1/4 scale servos are if they're set up correctly.
    try one, experiment a bit with the linkages.


    They're pretty cheap.

    How heavy do you reckon the car is?...
