Yes, I didn't like cutting the mainspar but added two hardwood spars (clearly seen in the photo). 6 x 10 mm as I remember, and they are running all the way between the two inner ribs...

No, no Polish Squadrons flew Tempests. There were Polish pilots flying Tempests in other Squadrons. But I have never seen a photo of a Tempest with Polish markings or badges.
