that liner needs to rotate to the right 90 degrees. The the exhaust port in the sleeve is in the rear port in the cylinder jacket.

On the topic of 1.49 engines, has anyone received an Elfin repro that was fitted like an ABC engine? I have one that took lots of patience to get running. I think the rod has paid dearly for it.

No, the .15 side exhaust has a carb boss that is @10 MM. The 2.5cc (also a .15) has the carb boss at I believe is around 15MM. So the carb for the pro 15 will not fit the 2.5 rear exhaust.

Long term the Connecting rod would suffer. Castor oil has extreme film strength and shear strength. This oil actually migrates and sticks to hot spots. Turbine oil actually "unzips" at high temps.

I got 11,000 Revs on a MAS 11X6 with zero nitro. This engine is at it's best with a 10X6, you gotta let the engine unwind to see it's true potential.
