I was hesitant to use the R-610 on my power planes, however I put one in my Goldberg Tiger 2 did a good range check and flew it.
I never used the remote antenna. The Tiger 2 flew with no glitches...

RE: Mode 1

I started flying in the early 80's and my instructor was a mode 1 flyer. We have only one other flyer in our club that is mode 1 that I know of. In my opinion both mode 1 and mode 2 have there...

RE: OS .91FS (Surpass I) back plate

If you have no luck locating a back plate with the mounting boss, you might try using JB Weld. My mounting boss has been broken also, JB Weld seems to be working so far.

RE: OS91 4 Stroke Compession

I flew the engine today. Seems to have plenty of power. Had to work the low idle to get a decent idle. I have to run the idle a little fast, but I can still land it OK.
Still no compression...

OS91 4 Stroke Compession

I acquired from a friend a older OS 91 4 stroke. When I turn the prop by hand or starter there is no compression. It won't start unless I use a starter and put my finger over the muffler opening to...

RE: Saito 91 inverted problems.

I had a similar problem with a Magnum 91 4 stroke. However my tank was a little higher than the center line of the carb. When the engine was at idle it would load up and quit. I tried adjusting...

RE: TT130 4 stroke

Thanks for the reply, I was aware of the glow plug problem. I didn't know that this was also the cause of the piston failure. I will research the threads.

RE: GP Zlin

At my age I could have switched it to cool. My new heat gun doesn't put out the heat like my old Top Flight did. When I put an ARF together and they say 5-6 hours it is more like 20 hours. Just...

RE: GP Zlin

Received mine on Wednesday. Same issues with the covering. Got most of the wrinkles out of the fuse and wings. Tail feathers another story, especially the elevators. The rudder came out nice. It...

RE: Best/worst kit build

I have built the Goldberg Tiger 11 and the Tiger 60. Not great kits to put together, compared to Great Planes and Sig. However the Tiger 11 flies great, I am almost done with the Tiger 60.

RE: Balsa USA Citabria Pro

Thanks,

I will look at my plans again. The gap angles towards the front of the fin. I may just have to fill it in with balsa. I don't think that was the intentions.
