A selection of my shots from yesterday.
How many of us have had a maiden flight that went perfectly?
Having said that, what Im not impressed at is editing out a landing from an otherwise shaky flight.
I don't wish to discourage the...
Glad to see the undercarriage looks much better than the one pictured in the first post.
Can you confirm how the stabs connect? Picture 8 looks like it rotates on 3mm threaded bolts, but...
Is that the final version of the undercarriage or will it be scale on the production version?
Any word on a cockpit for it?
Quite Eddie, it was an interesting day out- learnt a lot, mainly from stupid mistakes, and its reassuring to have flown it single engine, and seen how the model behaved, albeit with the assistance of...
Going back to the twin engine case.....
Finger trouble and general ineptitude meant I flew my small skymaster A10 for an entire flight today with one engine at idle and the gyro only available...
Thanks again to Dick and the team for a great day out. It was my first jet meeting in over a year and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Would i be right in thinking that the main difference (on paper) between the igro, the 3e and cortex is that the igyro has 1) gps adjusted gain and 2) allows you to adjust the gain on each axis.
Have you looked at the thread on regroups about this model?
Ill try and get a pic of my tank layout, but If i recall correctly, i put the tanks between the formers and the rear formers are...
That was my thoughts too-I thought long and hard about it-the bandit uses 3421 servos, the elevator is half the size but the A10 will be significantly slower.
I thought about the 9411...
I've just finished mine, taxi trials are imminent.
i used jr 8411 servos on flaps and elevator, as I had a number available on the bench. I used 8711 on ailerons. The rudder will only accept a midi...

Are you using telemetry?
if so, are your Rx status lights on the powerbox screen solid or flashing?
Guys, Are you both using telemetry?
My royal SRS Rx status light on the secondary reciever flickers.
if the 7003 is using telemetry faster than 1s refresh, the Rx status light will flicker.
If you're using a Futaba 18mz, get in touch via pm and I'll send you the model file for a twin turbine model that allows you to start each engine separately or together.
Rim -41.2mm diameter.
I have a set of 3.5" wheels, I'll check on Sunday when I'm next home what the diameter is.
if you can't wait, then dreamworksrc are usually very quick in answering emails.
750gm was required for a twin king tech 60 setup. The owner may be along with more info.
im putting vt80 engines in mine, I can let you know in a couple of weeks how much nose weight I require....
I have, as per the instructions in the manual- only the rear of it, from the rear of the turbine case to the front of the pipe.
i don't know how big the ram1000 is but it might be worth checking...
Thanks Muzzgail, but my problem is getting air into the tire. I need to do that before i think about pressure.
I don't think air is even moving from the valve, through the gap between the split rim...
I've just taken apart my sky master inflatable wheels on my A10 for painting.
Ive just tried to reassemble them and either find that the tire pops off the rim when I approach 40 psi, or...
Hopefully just a misunderstanding but the above quote read as patronising and sarcastic to me too.
is anyone using the xicoy telemetry with the Merlin VT80?
Im waiting for an answer from Gaspar,...
Congratulations Ali, the UK's loss is the US's gain.
Best of luck with the new venture.
Do the Elec wheels and brakes fit the oleo struts used on the BVM bandit and bobcat?
