    Speed Records

Sorry, but this is not correct. The correct equation is:
    HP = (torque x rpm)/5252

Because of this, HP and TQ will ALWAYS have the same figure at 5252 RPM. There is no way around this.

    Shops overseas

Singapore Hobbies has done me right both on orders and email correspondence. You will need to send an email to them for a price list and use their order sheet program, but it goes very smoothly.

    Re: Pilot Zero-Sen 54"

I have one of these kits in my closet. Along with the Mustang and Spit :) The reason they are no longer made is because the factory burned down and all tooling was lost. I have heard these models...

Yes, you are right. You doing nothing but complaining about something and refusing to give any details on the setup of the model is very unproductive.

As a side note, I see you are selling the...

I think you need to step back and very seriously consider what you are accusing me of.

I do not, nor have I ever, sold anything aside from my own personal used hobby equiptment. I don't...

Again, sounds like you have a problem with YOUR PARTICULAR ENGINE, not a flawed product. Ever heard of a "bad one"? They do happen. If you're so set on calling the product flawed, then how to you...

    Pilot DJ2?

I have no idea why the German OK Model site is showing the single tail videos other than possibly to show one of the early prototypes and the evolution of the model? Whatever the reason, I think it's...

The only video I've seen of the DJ-2 is the one on RT Models web site. Where is this other video where it won't get off the ground?

Odd, I wonder how Pilot managed to get the one in their video to fly? And, they took off from grass! Granted, the video looks like the model is slightly anemic, but it does in deed fly. I'd take a...

In defense of the CG Chipmunk, it was designed as a good flying sport plane that happens to look like a Chipmunk, not a scale model for the average joe.

I have a 1/5 scale Piper PA-11 kit I bought from Ikon about 13 years ago. The wings went together very nicely and easily. The tail is basically a scratch build affair since it's all sticks and user...

    YS Engine with pitts muffler?

Yes, it will run, just don't expect the same performance without the pipe as you would have with the pipe. The intake and exhaust ports are timed for better performance with a pipe.

Gear or Belt reduction question for 3d

    OS 40-H ????

    Jason,

You are welcome. One more thing though. Don't apply this info to ABC, ACC or ABN engines. These engines need to be run in much closer to the same needle setting you would use to fly them....

Sounds like it needs more time to break in. Remember, this is an older ringed engine. They should be broken in for several tanks in a very rich 4-stroke setting. Don't get this one hot during break...

I really don't have a favorite on any servo. Everything I've ever used from JR has worked flawlessly. Same goes for Futaba. I just be sure to match the servo to the demands of the application.

How did you have the same results as before if the engine wouldn't run after turning in the regulator? I wouldn't rull out an air leak, but you might want to ask your question on the YS support forum...

    Misbehaving YS .53

The YS regulator is really quite simple. If you turn the screw in, you have less pressure. If you turn it out, you have more pressure.

If you have too much pressure, the high end needle will be...
