    RE: 3W Inconsistent

3w engines are famous for leaking air. Take the carb and the reed valve off and seal the gaskets with permatex. I had a similar problem with my 106 and after it was sealed it became very reliable. ...

    RE: AW 35% Extra-CG question

As was already stated, bigger planes can handle quite a bit before they are dangerous. As long as you are on the wing tube with the CG you will be good. It is pretty much a preference thing from...

    RE: Servo choice?

Personally I did not like them. They were slow. If you weren't doing precision or 3d I suppose they would work. I would look into OMG servos there is a thread on flying giants about them

My Giles blew off the table and I am looking for a canopy and rudder for a 40% giles. I would prefer a red canopy, but I would take anything.

RE: Unidentified Giant Scale Gas Engine

in any case, based on the size that it appears in the pictures, there is no way it is a 80 or 100cc engine. If I had to guess I would put it closer to 15cc

RE: hottest weather to hover safely?

Probably the most important thing you can do is to make sure your engine air is ducted well. I have hovered here in Nevada when it was in the high ninety's, but Im sure it gets much hotter there. ...

Another thing to check is the fuel filter. Check the carb screen and ensure it is not partially blocked.

    RE: 3w 106 Question

the reason i don't think its the ignition is because it only does that until it starts and runs after that there is no problem. It seems to be isolated to when the engine is cool.
