RE: OS 160 FX 3D Prop!

I have not had much luck with a 160 FX (all on 13lbs planes and above). It does not have that low end torque I require in 3D. I tried a bunch of props nothing came out great. Try to get the plane...

RE: Please let me know what you think

Unless you are very advanced I would skip composite aircraft. I bang mine up and would much prefer to fix balsa.

RE: Help me Identify this Engine-Rossi?

Take look at http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/What_engine_is_this%3F/m_61199/tm.htm
I didn't know what mine was either. I haven't tried it out yet so I don't know how it runs.

RE: Kangke Laser 2000 - What Motor?

The prototype used a G62. With Yuri at the controls it could do it all. The g62 was chosen because he had one and if your flying 2 inches from the ground you need the most reliable engine you can...

RE: Would a Sr. Falcon ARF be over my head as a first plane to learn on??

Plane will be fine but please get familiar with RC on one of the simulators. It sure makes easier on the instructor. Also use a buddy box to start

RE: Quique's 72" Yak 54

Contact TnT Landing gear they can be found in RCU Sponsors. I am sure they can fix you up. I would check the weight on any gear before I switch for the stock gear.

RE: OS 1.60 what new 3D / Pattern Plane

I agree. The EF YAK is nice and light. The OS160 is kind of short on power. If you can't get this plane find something 10 lbs. or lighter.

RE: What has more power, a Saito 1.80 or a Moki 1.80?

I would definitely overlook the OS160FX. It will pull the H9 Edge around but not much else. The OS160FX has very poor low end performance. The Saito 1.8 and the Moki 1.8 are both a better choice. My...

RE: DP 300L

You really need to count that wide fuselage toward the wing area. It generates a lot of lift. If you don't believe me look at a Gee Bee.

RE: saito 82 and ys 63 dimensions for PA Edge 540

I just had to make the same choice on a Tuflight 4D. It was a very close call. I am sure either would be very satisfactory. I chose the YS 63 due to it's better fuel draw, instantaneous response and...

RE: YS 1.10 vs. O.S. .91fx for Funtana 90s?

Moki 2.1 thrust

Has anyone ever measured the static thrust on a Moki 2.1. There are a number of programs which calculate it but I don't believe them. TIA.
