My first flights

Hi:

After downloading the plans for a FT Simple Cub and building the model with 5mm foam board, I hit the road. Not bad for a guy that hadn't flown BUT had many hours using a RC sim (CRRCSim).

Hi there!

After decades building RC boats, tanks and vehicles, I decided to give RC planes a try.

I'm not interested in acrobatics, just smooth, relaxing flights.

PT 109 lifebuoys color

Hi:

I'm finishing JFK's PT 109. The 1/32 Lindberg kit instructions specify light grey for the lifebuoys.

Weren't the lifebuoys painted the same scheme as the boat to blend with it?

Thanks

Lindberg 1/32 PT-109, shafts mount

Besides the fact that there should be three instead of just two shafts, there is a piece to be glued where the shaft comes out from the hull, but I don't think it is right.

What should I do?

Magnets will work. But will they hold the deck in rough waters? Sometimes we take the boats to a lake and it often becomes rough.

Ideally, the water should exit through water exhausts from the...
