RE: **ARESTI 40 QUESTION**

They say a Saito 72 can rev up to 12,000 rpm. I usually keep mine around 11,000 rpm. I would think 11x11 would be too much prop as well. I run 13x6's on my 2 .72 and they are quite happy. I'm...

RE: SAITO100 vs YS110 for U-Can-Do 60

It amazes me that people want a power to weight ratio of 4:1 (hovering at 1/4 throttle????) A couple of guys at our club have UCD 60's with OS 91 pumped 4-strokes, there amazin! One guy flies it 3D...

RE: **ARESTI 40 QUESTION**

Stop yelling, it's not good to type in UPPERCASE, it indicates your yelling.... Anyways a 13x8 might be too much prop for a Saito 72. Try a 12x8 as see if that helps you turns a few more rpm. Also...

RE: Koverall brush strokes?

Good point about the price, I just used them to glass and fill the weave on my GWS Mustang. In that application it was worth the extra money to avoid ANY extra weight!

RE: Koverall brush strokes?

Just a tip, if you are worried about weight at all use microballons instead of the talc!

RE: 4 Star Bash Questions

The cowl fit great length-wise and width wise. I lined the bottom of the cowl up with the bottom of the plane and the top ended up being about a 1/8 inch higher then the 4* top. I built up the...

RE: Too much power?

I had a Saito 56 in my 4*40 and I though it was underpowered! I'm in the process of switching to a Saito 72 instead! I used to have a lot of fun with low slow flyby's. I'd punch the throttle just...

RE: Futaba Charger on a Jr Radio !!!

Is it still working? If it is maybe you got lucky! With my JR when I screwed up it didn't work so my answer was obvious. Two months later and $150 I had my radio back from Horizon!
