RE: New Foamy Help

11x5.5 is way to much for 3d, 10x3.8 is good even maybe a 10x4.7.

RE: Best 3d electric RTF for beginner???

If you are going to get into the world of 3D i would definitely recommend that you get an ARF, mainly because you will be bashing planes and you should know how to put them back together.

RE: GREAT PLANES FLATOUTS

its not the best but a little more heavy duty than the flatouts, and right around the same cost, is the yak 55 from hobby lobby. They are fun little planes and will do what you want them to.

RE: GREAT PLANES FLATOUTS

Im not one to come out and tell everyone what the BEST foamy out there is, but what kind of flying are you doing? outdoor or indoor? indoor models include: enticement, Vrolet, the extra from hobby...

RE: GREAT PLANES FLATOUTS

Im really suprised that a lot of people out there are still making the flatout mistake, and building anything with hot glue, foam safe ca and activator? you cant get any easier. I'd say if you cant...

RE: Eflite Enticement

Sound like it wasnt constructed correctly. I hardly ever fly mine outside but i have and i have had some pretty fast down lines and pulled hard no wing breakage. I hate to ever use epoxy on anything...

RE: Eflite Enticement

Right, its not going to be a real snappy plane, but it still can handle its fair share of manuvers.

RE: Eflite Enticement

Well flying 3d is all about being unstable but controlled right? I would try it with out the brakes and sfg's made a huge difference for me, its well worth the lightly gained speed.

RE: Eflite Enticement

I had the extra 260 as well, it is definately a great flying airplane, but having one that weighs in an ounce and a half less does make a difference. This plane crawls. I took off the sfg's and...

RE: Eflite Enticement

The plane flew very well, i flew it both with the sfg's and brakes and without them , needless to say i like it better without all that stuff on, it rolls better, and i auctually like knife better.

RE: New-------E-Flite Sobre 3d Profile-F3P~~~~~~~

it would probably fly better then both if it was lighter, i know you are in the ball park but probably 6.5 to 7oz would be best weight for it. id use a 450mah pack with it

RE: Are there people who fly 3D but do not crash?

Well ya, they may not crash on video, i know a few of the pros from jr and have seen them fly while theyre not in the spot light. let me tell you they crash, granted its a lot more graceful than me...

RE: New-------E-Flite Sobre 3d Profile-F3P~~~~~~~

shouldnt this plane be more around 7.5oz? 12oz would exceed the lift. why would you use flaps in a hover? maybe in a harrier, hmm not sure on this one, 15mph seems like a lot of wind to really judge...
