My converted 250 watt ATX unit with a 10 ohm 10 watt resistor strapped to the vent louvres with heat sink compound works quite well and even though it only puts out 11.6 volts on the 12 volt rail it...

Which of the led leads is a better option to place the resistor, the negative or positive.

Hi Andrew,

I recently converted a 235 watt PSU to power my Accucell 6 charger, but unfortunately it only delivers 10.63 volts on the 12 volt leg. Is there anyting that can be done to bring it up...
