RE: Strange servo behavior (EK2-0500) in a King2

Thanks, DD. I'll keep that in mind and will check it out. The whole RTF is about 6 months old now (x-mas present). How old it is from the factory... who knows?

Strange servo behavior (EK2-0500) in a King2

Hi all,

I had a small mishap recently and the front servo stripped. During replacement, I was testing the new servo, and found that on power-up, the servo would swing all the way in one...

King2 bent tail boom = tail belt drop

Hi all,

I've read a lot about the issues with the (and mine) HBK2 tail belt dropping off one of the guides. This happened to me after a hard landing. What I found after was the belt was riding...

RE: Deans Ultra Plug Connector for HBK2

slotdr,

Those in the picture are what you want, especially moving to brushless on the K2. I've put the Deans on all my batteries which didn't come with them by default. JST and Deans micro are...

RE: Some questions from a new FP pilot

2. (I assume, since you're in the Esky forum, that you're flying an HBFP.) USHobby Supply does not, as has been noted before, carry HBFP parts. At least, they are not listed online. I recommend...

RE: heli wants to go backwards

Set the 3d/idle up switch towards you on the stock Esky tx when setting your pitch at 0 deg with midstick on the throttle and all trims at center except for throttle trim at bottom.

RE: Have you ever had this happen to you?

Be careful with "reverses the throttle control" because that's not accurate. The idle up switch changes the throttle stick settings so that full down = full motor speed and 9-11 deg of negative pitch...

RE: ESKY production shut down

Could be, could be... ;) I know we (my company) experience a few hiccups in production, but more impact is actually in the distribution channel. The production jobs are more lucrative and...

RE: ESKY production shut down

Typically, a lot of employers in China experience high turnover during this time because workers go out to find different jobs for the new year.

RE: HoneyBee King II Question

You can use 275-290mm symmetrical blades on the K2. A LHS should be able to accommodate that. If you get non-Esky, you may need to add washers to accommodate the slightly wider Esky grips.

RE: HBK2 Power Switch

You might check out automotive switches, since many will be made to work with DC, specifically 12V. Head over to Napa Auto Parts, AutoZone, or other local shop.

Even Radio Shack does have some...

RE: HBK2 Power Switch

Can you consider VAC and VDC similarly? I thought there was something about considering amperage for AC and DC which was different.... Maybe I'm just going goofy...

RE: Nitromodel realiable????

Well, what I've personally written in a few of those threads I linked to is that when Raiden and Xheli have your stuff in stock as the webpage says, then you can get a decent deal (CJFREESHIPPING or...

RE: Instruction Manual in PDF for HBK2

And you can always go directly to the manufacturer website www.twf-sz.com and download manuals for all of Esky's products. Some PDFs are compressed in RAR format.

RE: Nitromodel realiable????

Doing a search on this site will get you a lot of hits. I used to do business with Raidentech and Xheli (same company, same address), but I won't any more. I believe also that nitroplanes (is...

RE: HBK2 metal head instal ?

I know, friend Druss. I was responding to SuperBee who asked which I quoted in my reply. I know we're talking about the metal head, but SuperBee specifically brought it up, so I responded.

RE: HBK2 metal head instal ?

I've taken apart my stock head a couple times, and I have not seen a piece like that. I do not believe it is part of the plastic head.

RE: Honey Bee King II Batteries

The pictures I've attached show all the batteries of various sizes I've run in my K2. I don't do 3D. Yet. Not sure if I will. So the slightly heavier batteries don't bother me so much for sport...

I don't see the flange on those pieces, Druss.

See the attached pics of my metal head. I still think the washout base is where those pieces should be. Now, does the washout have those pieces...

I've got an assembled K2 CNC head, but can't figure out what this piece is you're talking about. Between the blade grips and the shaft need to be the two washers and the rubber o-ring... Do your...

RE: My(hopefully, not to short) adventures with the Honeybee King 2

Definitely is a JST. Tell-tale open-rectangle connector with the tab/bump on one side.

Is anyone else concerned with the ESC being mounted directly under the receiver? I see the ferrite ring is...
