RE: slow stick upgrade

Hey Guys, an easy and durable outrunner motor mount for SS can be built in 30 minutes or less from lightweight 2x2 aluminum from local HW store. Flexes/bends on hard landings and protects motor, prop...

RE: Stryker Motor Alignment?

WC, I finally checked the motor alignment and glad I did! The line terminated just below the bottom edge of the nose cone! It was a wonder that it would fly at all. I corrected the alignment using a...

RE: Stryker Motor Alignment?

Bleary, thanks for the great information. I had not considered adding epoxy to the channels on the motor mount but will most certainly do this! I agree, tie wraps are a cheap and easy way to add...

RE: Stryker Motor Alignment?

WC, yes, read the thread on your launcher. I am intrigued and always interested in launch mechanisms. A year or two ago I found a nice launcher made from PVC so I'll have to try and dig up that...

RE: Stryker Motor Alignment?

WC, Thanks for replying. The ply reinforcement adds very little to the weight and helps spread impact forces over a wider area it seems. Just adjusted cog slightly by moving batt foward a bit....
