LS stroke

Does anyone know the actual stroke of the LS Nelson? I know the SS was .706, but don't know the LS.
Thanks

RE: QM-2 Set-up

Thanks Bob,
One more stupid question before I fire it up. Does the little hole in the counterbalanced backplate point up when the intake is fully open like a nelson?

Hi, I just received a QM-2 40 and am wondering about the set-up. Does the backplate go on, then the insert into the backplate, then prop, then washer, then spinner adapter? Or do I have the order...

This is probably a stupid question, but I don't have an LS to compare to, but are the LS shims you can buy from Performance Specialties the same as the old SS shims? I need a couple of .0001's for a...

RE: Nelson SS-Q500 wanted

Hey Peter,
I tried to take the Nelson muffler apart myself to get the inner pipe out to make it C500 legal. Propane torch, strap wrench, vice grips, etc. Nope... Had to send it to Dave. Hecut...

RE: 66-012 airfoil

All good questions, Don. I need it to CAD a quickee wing to mill some plugs for composite wings. I'll make my own molds from those. Skins aren't necessary, but full airfoil shape is, ie. leading...

66-012 airfoil

Hi there,
Could anyone send me a dwg file of a 66-012 airfoil?
jsmartin*sasktel.net (replace the asterisk with a @) This is just so I don't get spammed.
Thanks,

RE: How to color Epoxy

For that application, You can tint the epoxy with tempera powder. An art store will carry all the colours you need. It will thicken slightly, but the heat will even it out.

RE: T-tail Quickie

Hi guys,
I know there is no magical formula. I'm not even trying to get extra speed. The same or close would be nice though. I just have a full stock of quickies (miracle #1) after this season,...

Thanks Kevin, but I'll be pulling the fuse from my own mold, so I really just need the dimensions of the surfaces. I have built two Mad Dogs, which were the best flying quickie's I've had. One was...

RE: Engine tuning

On the 8.75X7.5NN I'm getting around 19200 on the ground. I really can't tell you the speed, but a guess is topped out around 225 Kph? I think that's around 140mph for you stars and stripers. We...

RE: Engine tuning

Probably not. We run on the same fuel as you guys, 15% Powermaster. Kev, I found the best readings with the 8.75X7.5 APC with a 800-1000rpm pinch up from the exhaust line. I don't know if this...
