The rims are made from 0.8mm ply and 0.17mm fliteskin, both laser-cut for precision. The pic is my CMP 109F, I'm also finishing a ESM 109E with the same rims

You should try fliteskin, great...

I enjoyed the book very much, it captures the BoB atmosphere from a first person perspective and has a lot of details about the Spit

The film is OK, it only captures small sections from the book...

To get a thin, light and strong composite fuse you must use vacuum-bag moulding - like we do in surfboard repairs.

I bet that's how Vic does it (and most certainly ESM do not!)

I spread sea salt over the primed wing, then paint the camouflage colours, then scratch the salt crystals off and you get the random paint peel effect...
