    RE: St g90 losing fuel

If it is an older ST engine, it might be time for new orings on the needle valves.

    RE: 6v receiver pack

As mehrshad said, if you have a small light trainer type plane with only three or four low torque servos that's one thing. If you have something larger, then, perhaps, a better pack from...
  3. RE: Going for first ever flight solo later. Wind or no wind?

When I was learning to fly, I didn't fly in anything over 10 mph winds.
A lot has to do with the wind direction as well. If the wind is straight up or down the runway, that is best. If it is...

You want some cheese with that whine?
I get tired of people coming on here and, if they have a problem, they take out the big paint brush and condemn...

    RE: German Speedcup 2013

I certainly appreciate them bringing this niche in the rc world to us. I would have no idea that these types of events even existed had they not posted here. I commend all who pursue these types of...

    RE: Getting back into it

    Congratulations! and welcome back also.
I, too, have gotten back into the hobby after taking nearly 20 years off to raise a family. But now, I'm fighting my work schedule. [:@]

    RE: German Speedcup 2013

    Electric 287.6 mph
    15cc 258.3 mph
    10cc 258.2 mph

    WOW!!!
    "Easy on the sticks!"
I can't even imagine trying to control them at those speeds.
Are they "clocked" at level flight or diving?

RE: 12' Telemaster - Good trainer?

I had an Alpha 40 trainer, and initially I crashed a number of times. I repaired it myself on multiple occasions. A 12' Telemaster would be considerably more work and expense to do so.
    Kinda have...

RE: taxiing a warbird and taking off

You need to get the wheels further forward. I'm not sure what type of landing gear you have, but you can either bend the wire or, perhaps shim the mounts to get the wheels more towards the leading...

    RE: Battery for new receiver

I'd go with a 6V RX pack. It will provide a little more cushion before you would see a low voltage brownout. Also, if the Futaba servos have J plugs on them, you'll need to pare or sand that tiny...

    RE: 3-axis Gyro for Airplanes???

I've heard good things about these. You can buy direct, but Tower (I believe) sells them a little below MSRP.

RE: Electric, glow, gasser. Just choose one

Glow. The only engines I have are .46 to 1.6 two cycle glow. I just love the smell of burnt castor!
If I flew more, then maybe gas, but I don't get to fly as much as I'd like. I work 6- 12 hr night...

  24. RE: SENIOR TELEMASTER/HAVE YOUR WINGS EVER FAILED???

I have an old kit built STM with a one piece wing with no struts. I've haven't had any problems with the wings (or anything else for that matter). But, I do not fly it like an aerobatic plane either....
