Dave,
I thought you meant the gimbal wires, they are very thin. When I got my 8000 I went the back to tighten up the tension on the stick springs and I said these are the thinest wires I ever saw...

The polarity is the same as the Futaba Rx.

Yes the Futaba servo will work. You will have to file down the lip on the side of the Futaba servo plug and it will slide into the receiver. In other words the plug has to look like the...

The J&A pitts is much quieter than the bango, and I didn`t notice any difference in the performance of the engine.

Sounds like you have a full winged Sig 1/4 scale Cub. The CG is on the main spar....you will be able to fell the the main spar right before the open bays of the wing.

I like the Sig 1/4 Scale kit, it comes out light and it is a good flier.
I have the clip wing version with a OS 1.60 twin. The plane is about 13 years old.
