In an effort to get back into glow (specifically 1/2a) flying, I realized that one of my older planes simply had to be stripped and recovered. What a mess. I have never had to do this before, and am...

Raycamel, can you do a short post on that purple and white covering job? I really like it, but I am a little stumped on how you did it. I would love to learn the technique. Thanks

Thanks for the input y'all. Nice to see you again Steve. I like the idea of a dolly, but I think I would have to do a little testing before I implemented such a plan. I feel like the plane would be...

RE: Herr Little Extra w ASP .12

I know this is gonna sound strange, but i still fly mine on the Norvel 074. It is no speed demon, but it goes where I point it, and has always been fun to fly. I have had mine for 6 years, although I...

RE: Sure Shark flys great with a 074 Norvel

I'll second that Catracer,

I really like the 6.3x4 APC for most Norvel 074 applications.

RE: 1/2A F9F PANTHER

The plans page lists it with a 38 inch wingspan for a 25 engine.

With the 1/2a version having a 25 inch WS that would be a reduction ratio of 66 %

2/3 size of the original design.
