I would love to join the brotherhood. In my opinion the Airacobra's story is the best of all warbirds, though she is not as famous as a Mustang, Thunderbolt, or TigerShark.

I have built and flown...

RE: P-39 by ESM

Tell me....how AWESOME is that?
The people spoke, and Sierra provided. They have just made alot of P-39 owners very happy. I would imagine these would also fit the P-63 (Palmer Plans).

Way to...

RE: P-39 by ESM

TY did an excellent job. I built mine and added a few more things. Looks really good once complete. Only down fall is you lose alot of room for a fuel tank. Electric guys have no problem.

RE: P-39 by ESM

I have had a mishap with my ESM P-39, and need a repair to the wing. I'm not going to do this until I get better retracts than the ESM garbage. I can , however, atest that it doesn't matter what...

RE: P-39 by ESM

Boys, count me in for 2 sets of gear. I'm sure the demand is way over 12 sets, if people knew they were designing a set. I've been waiting since Feb. I bought 2 sets of the ESM P39 gear. Their just...

A bad day???
A bad day is when you crash stuff, and it goes back to it's original kit form. This was far from a bad day. lol

RE: P-39 by ESM

I would say a 32 would be good. I have a few flights on mine with a DLE-30, and it's plenty. I'm going to get another cowl to cut because I'm thinking of trying to get a 55cc in there. I've attached...

RE: P-39 by ESM

If you were to lengthen the gear to get the nose up to be more scale, you might run into a problem with the wheel hitting the back wall when it retracts. I was hoping to alter mine, but once I took a...

John Sandberg's P-63 King Cobra

Hi all,

I would like to pay tribute to John Sandberg's P-63 King Cobra 'Tipsy Miss', which raced in Reno in the 1970's. I was wondering if anyone had any detailed photos of the logos used on the...
