    RE: CMP 160 sized Texan

I picked up a 3/4 inch dowel and it doesnt fit very well. I'm going to try sanding it a bit to see if it helps. One thing Id hate to see happen is when the dowel heats up and expands the wing gets...

    RE: CMP 160 sized Texan

    Ryon,

We just need to find some 3/4" OD tube for the wings. It appears that CMP used 1.5MM tube and that leaves the slack.

Heres my gear and wing progress:

    RE: CMP 160 sized Texan

    Ryon,

I worked a little on my Texan today as well. I was pretty happy with the construction and amount of epoxy used on the joints. I even noticed carbon finer used at the firewall joint!

    I...

Do you guys think theres enough room to add a full depth cockpit to this fuse? I just hate the flat top where the cockpit should be.

PS, I should have mine sometime tomorrow!

    RE: Poulan 42 Carb

The carb that I have is a WT324 with a 28 cast into the venturi. The butterfly has a 34-80 stamped on it. I'll see if I can find a WT497 or WT338. They sound like just the ticket!
