RE: CA STORAGE IN THE

I used to fly with Dr. Chuck Davis and he told about
building a small plane and before leaving for work at
the local hospital he decided one last part should be

RE: Adding ether to

I live in the very southern tip of Texas.
We sometimes experience warm weather

volatile fuels. My solution is much like

RE: what plane to build around OS.10 engine?

My favorite kit for an OS .10 was a Warlock
by Airtronics. It was for a TD but I could get
more consistent results with the .10 . Skaliwag
is really close. I like this one.

RE: Hotser

I got the original Hots to knife edge loop but had
to move the CG back where it belonged, it was
near impossible to manage with my level of skill.

RE: Kit for an OS 10fp

The OS .10 is fine for 1/2 A kits .Most were designed
for heavier equipment than we have now and the added
inch of prop diameter sure helps. Don't speculate on the
outcome if you have not tried...

RE: Kit for an OS 10fp

I love that engine. I flew one for years on a
Warlock by Airtronics. It would do control line
style stunts at shoulder altitude and never a
hint of a stutter. Master Airscrew 7 X 4 and
15%...

RE: MP Jet diesel troubles

The problem is the ether. Go to John Deere and
get the John Deere branded product.

RE: What planes are your Diesels in?

Actually it is pretty large. 43 inch span 380 sq. inches and
the plans list it as 40 ounces. Mine is porky at 44.

RE: Enya CX11D issue??

A sealed front bb will sometimes harbor castor if it is put up wet.
Warm it up and run it .I bet it will clean itself up.

RE: MVVS 09 diesel

So true about carbs. This engine is hard to retrofit
another carburetor . I kind of managed a little China
car type carb on one but have not run it yet.

RE: MVVS 09 diesel

The OS .10 Muffler comes pretty close if you are going to
cut it to fit the MVVS. I just really love the Junior .2cc but
both of mine have a poorly fitted contra and I cannot
seem to beat them...

RE: MVVS 09 diesel

I have bought a few MVVS parts from Hobby Club
and ordered a muffler and a carburetor for the 1.5.
On both occasions I received parts for the "Junior"

RE: Big score today

I flew mine on a .46 OS rear exhaust mounted inverted

RE: Big score today

Raise the wing mount 3/4" inch, invert the engine
and use an aluminum gear. A good strong .45 on
the nose and it is a nice airplane. For some reason
they never seem to be very fast but with a...

RE: SlipStream 74 (Video and plans added)

Years ago my EU 1/2A had the rudder
trimmed to 3/8" at the top. that helped
with roll coupling a lot.

or something close is really hard so I was thinking

RE: Schoolboy build thread

I built mine from Early RC kit and it has the fully
sheeted wing. Mine flies on a PAW .55 it is a porker
nowadays but still does great at 10 ounces.
