I don't think so. Seems fine to me. I did reinforce the Toprcmodel Zero between the cockpit and the tail with CF and epoxy.

Put the tail retract cover on..

It's about 1/8" from the prop face to the gearing...

It's about 1/8" from the prop face to the gearing and about 2 1/2" from the prop shaft center line to the uppermost housing.

Mains should drop right in with just a little trimming needed.
The tail gear will need some modification to fit....
