Are you aware of the patch for the USB driver?...

Are you aware of the patch for the USB driver? When I upgraded to Windows 7, I had to wait for JR to make a USB driver available for W7. It won't work without it unless you are using Windows XP.

I prefer LiFe/A123 for Rx battery. Fast to ReCharge and holds it's charge for months.

Also, the model I flew was with fixed gear and then Retracts. It had a Zenoah G45. I would think the Quadra 35...

RE: JR Matchbox & Futaba or Hitec Servos

I still use the JR Matchbox when I can't use Channel Mixing. You can connect up to 4 servos to one channel and set Neutral, Direction, and End Points for each servo individually. If you are using...

RE: Servo Horn Screws?

I thought you were referring to the scree that holds on the servo arm to the servo output gear. I understand now that you meant the bolt on adapter arm.

RE: Servo Horn Screws?

I am guessing these servos have metal gears. The type of servo arm does not necessarily have anything to do with the screw used to hold the arm on. Microfastners is a good place to look for socket...

RE: Anyone Using Tactic ttx650 with Glow Engine Planes?

I don't think the Tx cares what motor powers the aircraft.

RE: Spektrum AR8000 useless without satellite

Thanks for the clarification. I never use 11ms so that was never an issue.

RE: Spektrum AR8000 useless without satellite

The last time this subject came up, Andy indicated that it was just the same Protocol that mattered.

RE: Spektrum AR8000 useless without satellite

It is my understanding that if you Bind multiple receivers to the same Model Memory, they each need to be the same Protocol ( both DMS2 or both DSMX). The Model Memory stores the Protocol for the...

RE: Spektrum AR8000 useless without satellite

Pressing and holding the Bind Button down and then turning on the DX8, without the Rx set to Bind Mode, will wipe the Bind info from the DX8 Model Memory. This is true with other Spektrum...

RE: Master/slave mix problem

If you do not Bind again, after you choose a Wing Type or Tail Type, you may see one control surface half deflect the wrong way when you first power up the Tx/Rx. This is because the Rx goes into...

RE: Spektrum AR8000 useless without satellite

elite has a number of aircraft that are offered without receivers. The elite Beaver, Taylorcraft, F4 Phantom, and Extra 300 are ones I have. I put Spektrum receivers in them and I have no issues.

Go to a Futaba forum Mr Troll. You are not helping anyone here and you are sadly misguided.

RE: Spektrum AR8000 useless without satellite

I still use my JR XP9303 with the Spektrum DM9 DSM2 module. Others in my club have the same radio and have had no problems since it came out in 2007. Many others have the X9303, 9503, 11X, 12X, DX8,...

RE: Spektrum AR8000 useless without satellite

I travel to various model meets around the NE and I do not see any trend away from Spektrum. I have not seen any higher instances of failures with any particular manufacturer's radio. Modelers tend...

My experiences exactly with the X7S and BNF, not sure why.

This is not my first trip around the patch with Spektrum gear nor R/C flying in general. Not bashing Spektrum, just find their...

RE: wall charger and 6V - NiMH battery

We have been using wall chargers for many years to charge both 4.8v and 6v NiCad and NiMh batteries. The wall charger charges at such a low rate (50ma-100ma) it is basically a trickle charge for most...

RE: JR 921 RECIEVERS

JR 921 receivers are DSM2 only. They will work with a DSMX transmitter, because it is backwardly compatible with DSM2 receivers, but the DSMX transmitter switches to DSM2 to communicate with the JR...
