RE: Old timer returns with another question...

I run the os .32 and it is fine except for now I am doing some mild 3D and the power does drop off. I have run 12 gallons in it now and it runs perfect normally. So if you plan to get into heavier...

RE: V7 - It Works (worked!)

You live on the edge Mark good luck with that. But what ever you do, NEVER try it with the Hawk..I give you guys credit for sticking with it but I can't see the fun in it at all. Maybe the fact that...

RE: V7 - It Works (worked!)

Not really all that bad Mark. I had a great day flying today and even did some inverted but I had to change some pitch curves when I got home as I found I did not have quite enough negative pitch.Alan

RE: V7 - It Works (worked!)

The servo failer may never happen again but ya never know. I never had a servo go out on anything, it was either a crystal or linkage type problem. Alan

RE: V7 - It Works (worked!)

Come to think of it my throttle on my LMH also did stick once and I had to crash in fear it would be lost. The slider throttle got jammed causing this problem. Just one more reason I suppose that I...

RE: V7 - It Works (worked!)

Mark I think I goofed when I said it costs the same for either machine to repair. Whet I really meant was the cost of parts is about the same. For example. main shafts, rotor blades, tail booms,these...

RE: V7 - It Works (worked!)

RE: V7 - It Works (worked!)

NO, not so either way the main shaft will bend trust me. Most I have spent in repairs is 50 bucks carbon or not. What the carbon blades do is give you more control and better flight in the wind also...

RE: V7 - It Works (worked!)

Mark do you still have your flybar weights on ? With those removed the hawk is extreamly responsive. What do you have for full positive pitch ? Alan

RE: V7 - It Works (worked!)

Mark, how long have you flown your hawk now?? Are you useing carbon blades? They say the hawk is 3D capable but I would say it is very very limited there. I do rolls and loops and some inverted...

RE: V7 - It Works (worked!)

This is one reason I went to a 30 size heli. A hawk or caliber costs about the same as the dreaded LMH however you do need a computer radio to fly them. But most people get the LMH to laern on so why...

RE: V7 - It Works (worked!)

If flying a heli is something you want to do then try an inexpensive 30 size like the hawk or the caliper. I have 11 gallons of fuel in my hawk now and I love it. I hear that my wife has gotten me a...
