  4. RE: off-topic...what other hobbies do you have?

In the warm weather I like to hang out at car shows and cruise nights with one of my hotrods, one's a #'s  matching '72 Challenger and the other is a '68 Dart that I built. It has a heart stopin'...

    RE: tail dragger

In regards to the rudder , Iv'e found that if you hold the rudder untill you see the plane turn then you probably have overcorected. I like to add  and then release the rudder stick in short blips....

    RE: London Olympics are fantastic!!

Great thread! These people that don't like it or don,t get it should have read the title better. London has been better to watch then all the rerun and other crap on TV.  Plus,  most of the stuff is...

RE: Maybe the Tower Hype is True?

My  problem is all the foam crap they sell. And I really miss looking at all the kits they used to sell. They replaced 20 pages of kits(circa1988) with 20 pages of foamies and arfs. Oh well, at least...

RE: BVM Jets Photo and RC Plane Bomber

The news isn't really the news anymore mostly. Its' what "may" happen, or could "happen", anything to sensationalize something, keep the sheep scared  maybe. baaa. Really, it sucks listening to these...
  11. Poll: RE: Do you charge your batteries while left in your plane?

No way I would pull mine out. Good ol' ni-cads for me, no fuss no muss (what is muss anyhow) . 1700mah gets me through the day every time and thats if I only take and fly one plane.

RE: Plane noses up for no reason

Some mustangs will climb at WOT, maybe it's just your throttle management, that, and your engine needs to be shimmed down a couple of degrees?

RE: Top Flite p 47, ok for a first plane?

Once you get started, you'll probably  have more then 1 plane anyhow. You'll want one that you can just fly, not work on all the time. Warbirds are high maintainence. Sticks are a little hotter then...

    RE: STOLEN MOWER! THIEVES!

Paul Harvey called the thieves in the night "night crawlers." Local kids with too much time on their hands with too little supervision maybe?

RE: The best maiden I've ever had!!!!

DUDE....... that must have been quite the rush, a natural high. Thanks for sharing your very rare feat. Now I want a falcon. Not really,  it would eat my chickens, although, the guineas might be ok.

RE: What engine for my P51?

I like to keep my planes a little lighter so they're able to glide instead of falling from the sky like a rock if the motor shuts off.  Also you'll get a more scale flight with the smaller motor. But...

    RE: Flaps....to flip or twist

  24. RE: when/how did you know you wanted children or not?

They'll be grown before you know it, and then you'll want a redo. Now I fly with my youngest (he'll be 21 in May).
