Yea, I used to get about 32 MPG not towing w/ my old 6cyl Maxima, and about 29 towing... What I wouldn't do for that now [&o] Still I now get about 20MPG towing on back roads w/ lots of hills w/ a 6...

A buddy of mine has a GP U-Can-Do that the covering is starting to shatter on the wings. Took longer than mine and others at the field took when we covered, but it's doing it too. Seems to be right...

I have a Car Mate and love it. It was built WAY better ( thicker frame and way thicker interior real ply, not Luan) built than the ones I was looking at at Lowes/Home Depot. One piece roof too...

As was mentioned... Use better drivers to prevent this in the future ;) , but here's a trick to remove it if you haven't already. Get some valve grinding compound with diamond dust in it. Not sure...

I get my magnets at a craft story. They are cheaper and much stronger than the ones at the local Radio Shack. Just get the extra strong ones. They also sell some magnets that will amost support...

I made a twin Kadet w/ a 20% airfoil. It didn't have ballooning tendancies like the flt bottomed one. I can't say if it flew any better., but it was different.

HUmmm interesting. When I used to fly Glow I would soak the engine in antifreeze in a crock pot on low overnight. (Darwin statement: NEVER use this for food again!!! ) I woud take apart the engine...

Don't worry, the more you do this, the quicker you'll get with it :) Before long a powered disk sander won't seem all that intimdating, and will make the work go much quicker.
