    RE: Binary2 vs. Monsterhorsepower stock

Well, the Monster Stock has more torque. You have to gear the Binary down a bit. The binary has much better RPM. Overall, most all off-road drivers don't like the binary stock motors, and the...

RE: Com Lathe Suggestion and Questions

The only advantage that diamond has over carbid is that it doesn't need to be sharpened close as often. Carbide bits are fine because remember, we are only cutting one of the softest metals, copper....

    RE: Ride height

Yeah, happy is right. It is pretty standard for racing to be right around 5cm. You are way too high though.

RE: Com Lathe Suggestion and Questions

It all depends how long you go without cutting the comm. Because the longer you go w/out cutting it, the more you have to cut the comm down.

RE: Com Lathe Suggestion and Questions

I have the Integy/Eagle Racing Mod Fashion lathe. It is the best lathe out on the market for the money. I got it will a carbide bit and carbide v-blocks for $88 brand new. All I needed was a 5v...
  9. RE: Newbie to RC -suggestions for XXX-S Sport

I'd have to say stick w/ losi and get a XXX-S G+. The reason I say this is because it has great parst support most everywhere, so if you breaksomething, you can replace it pretty easily.

  10. RE: Newbie to RC -suggestions for XXX-S Sport

    Maycooper,

If you want a new kit, so far, in my opinion, the Xray T1 EVO 2 and the Schumacher Mi2 are the best kits out. Take a look at the Xray though. They are a fairly new company, but they...

    RE: Good ESC?

Yeah, that esc will do great. BEC is the current that it gives to the receiver to power the receiver and the servo(s). There aren't many esc's out anymore that dont have BEC's.

  15. RE: replacing this stock motor, suggestions?

Well, the Photon isn't a stock motor. Stock motors are only 27 turns, and the Photon is a 20 Turn. The funny thing though is that the Photon is so crappy, that most stock motors will beat it with...

RE: Need help on charger selection

I'd say that would work if you are on a budget. They are great chargers for the money, and I have never hear anyone say anything bad about them! Good luck! :D

    RE: TC3 Spring Setups?

Well for carpet racing that should be much different. You want to go to the pretty hard springs. I tried many set ups and this is what I came out with:

    RE: Tighter diff in front...why??

Yeah, the purpose is for the car to "pull" itself more through turns. This way, you don't slip out when giving it throttle around turns.

    RE: Motor Question

    RE: Electric TC3 setup advice

Well it sounds like what you are running is fine. I'm thinking it is just the pavement or where ever you are running. Is it cold? Dusty? There are many things that can make it not hook up.
