    thats good to no thanks im gonna grab the 2" then and start a new hull tonight would say 40"by 18" work with 36" of flat and 4" coming up in the front, and should the sides be 90 degrees or tapered...

    thanks im really thinking about a new hull i could even take 2 pieces of 1 inch foam the top having cut outs for the mounts and ect and to lighten it up and glue them together like this one...

    ok what if i scratched the idea of the boogie boat and used the 2" foam insulation from homedepot. Then instead of having a backer plate epoxy 2 strips of aluminum on the top of the hullthatis...
