FYI.... My kid has flown a Pilot Extra 260 for 5 years now - it has been a very reliable flyer despite the 3D abuse my kid gives it. Last year... he had a dead stick and landed in soft rough field...

There are a number of excellent 50CC extra's - take your pick - my son has a Pilot 260 with a DLE 55 and it flies incredible and after three years of hard flying - it is still in great condition...

Oh my god..... I had no idea there was such a single point of failure in our new 30% Extra with a DLE55. Seeing how it spends 75% of it's time in some type of gravity defying manuever 20 feet or less...

Just use a government approved 1 - 2 gallon can to obtain the gas from station - add mix first. Then simply pour the mixed gas into your hobby can of any type... No problem with the GOV. If find this...

Appraently only the model with the auto ignitor is affected. I have been using the model with either a a tip or a hose attached... but I will investigate those also just to be safe.

My money is on the HS225 being bad... have seen plenty fail - tie a loop in the lead to mark it as flawed and use it for parts (case, gears). The fact only one servo was failing leads me to believe...
