Hitec 5955 boot speed Question

Hello Mike,

I have 5x5955 that I used in an earlier plane, they were the one of the first 5955s, bought summer-fall 2006

For a 35% plane I got 3 more 5955 bought 2007 spring.

Had a 27x10 way out of balance too, no matter how many coats I put on, stayed out of balance. At some point It was so thick at one side back I did not want to use it.

Looking good,

I flew 5 flights today overall 3.5 gallons thorugh Da50 with it. I have removed 4 oz from front, now have only 3 z up front.

Flying good and straight, I think this is overall...

I used JB weld on psuhrods, and I will caution against using CA, as CA will not soak into metal. JB weld vonds to metal real good but make sure you clean it with alcohol.

The holes are different as I drilled the props with a drill jig and the locations are different as I wanted the 22x8 to pass under ignition at 11. The 23x8 which has the bolt holes to fire at 10:30...

After reading a lot about NX props and how good they are I ordered a NX 23x8 prop for my DA50 to use after break in.

I originally had Bolly 22x8 according to DA's recomendation...

Well the old one is supposed to be 8lbs out of box and real life more like 10lbs as reported by several people, check first page post 16.

I am not happy with the fact that it is 2lbs heavier...

I had the maiden flight today, it went all well.

The DA 50 after 20-30 flips started and run like a champ rich but good, turned the Bolly 22x8 at 6800rpm, after the range check I took her up...

I removed the bottom of the canopy floor and rear of the canopy, it was all plywood...
