RE: Caliber30 upgrade with Raptor parts

The vertical stabilizer will work with modification. Its a bit longer than the Caliber's.

The canopy will fit with some slight mods, too.

The TT 550 CF Blades are a great upgrade from the...

RE: Caliber 5 Belt Tension

I have both the Caliber 30 and the Caliber 5. The belt tension on the 5 is real loose compared to the 30, but I haven't experienced any trouble with it thru a gallon of fuel.

RE: YS 50ST heli engine

Thanks for the reply Dave. Makes sense. I'm still sold on the YS and its reliability, may have to look for a used one or from CyberHeli.

I had posted this question earlier this morning,...

RE: YS 50ST heli engine

Any reasons why or when they might start production back? I am very interested in this engine for the Caliber 5 when it is released.

RE: Caliber .30 hop-up engine

I've heard a lot of good things about the Toki .40, but no experience with it myself . . . about $150 (+/-) complete with muffler.

RE: Caliber 30 n00b

If you're sold on that transmiter, try this one:

Same transmitter as you picked, but Heli specific with entry level servos. I...

RE: caliber 30 ems or mms which one?

The caliber is 3 servo 120 degree swash. Three servos use the computer's mixing to move the swash plate up/down, left/right, forward/back.

You are correct - eCCPM or as Kyosho calls it, MMS at...

RE: Newbie, with a simple question

If you want a decent RTF type Helicopter, I would lean toward the E-Flite Blade CP. It flies out of the box, can me "upgraded" for 3D and won't break the bank - less than $250 in basic form. The 3D...

RE: concept 30 dimensions

RoyLFlush,

Did you get all the info you need?

I have a Concept Hughes 500 fuselage that has never been mounted. I bought it to see if I could adapt it to my Caliber 30. The Caliber 30 will...

RE: Cheap Brushless setup for zoom 400 ?

You might look at the 400DH or the 400DF outrunners from www.justgofly.com. At about $50US the 400DH or DF is a great value. I have one in my Shogun and its quite a motor.

They also sell the CC...

RE: JR 347 and Hitec Electron 6 poblem

The X-347 is NOT shift selectable. You must use a positive shift Electron 6 receiver. I use an Electron 6 with my 347 radio with very good results.

I have even just recently activated the eCCPM...

RE: shogun/electron 6 use question

I left the case on mine. With the tail servo mounted on the boom and the 401 mounted over it, the Heli balances really well with the case on.

Plus, like -pkh- said, with the receiver mounted up...

RE: Fedex bought me a new heli

Don't want to start a Shogun vs. TREX vs. X400 war, just wanted to throw in another option.
