Peter Goldsmith flys a DA 100 in his big Pawnee. It has a lot of gas/oil residue on it. Worse than the original poster. W8YE gave him good advise...Maybe it is some other DA's your thinking...

I suggest re reading the second post. That oil speck is not at all bad for anything other than clean up. W8YE is right again...

On the tape.. All the tape is for is to center the prop on the stud. The bolt holds it tight and in the center when You tighten...

You might call a tower tech guy and ask?? Won't cost anything.. I used stock mounts that came with a Pulse 125. It fit my DLE 20 perfectly... Maybe you can run those down. Brian

Take your engine to the hobby shop and get the proper fiber mount for it. That is what I had to do with my first DLE 20 which mounts the same way. Some can be found for under $15.. I been thinking...
