  4. RE: New Be needs help tuning or trouble shooting

Spend a diaphragm/gaskets update kit on the carb. All moving parts must be flabby flexible.

    RE: OS 1.20 Go Boom....!!!

The loose bearing does not look like it suffered. The conrod split because of too high loads.
Just my idea from the pictures. A closer investigation might be needed though. However, it does not look...

    RE: OS 1.20 Go Boom....!!!

    probable sequence:
Lost prop, over-revved for a few revolutions, and exploded before anyone knew about it.
    Nice show.

    RE: CM-6 Gas Engine problem

    +1 with Raptureboy.

Rcexl ignitions are known to operate well up to 7V since day one! Maybe with shortened lifespan, but surely not 25 flights. I operate the old types on 2S LiFe battery to be...

    RE: CM-6 Gas Engine problem

My guess is that the ignitions are not RCexl at all, but imitations. At least not those from HobbyKing. Xu Liang does not sell to HK.
I see no fault in the setup. Plug gapped to 0.5mm?, Plugs maybe?...

    RE: CM-6 Gas Engine problem

What engine? What ignition brand? Were did you buy the ignitions?
Ignition in foam, with tie wraps? Loosely or tight?

The biela would be OK I think.
The 30x12x3 as well, if you pike the blades back to 29" diameter.

    RE: Installing a smoke system.

The good thing is, a smoke every once in a while keeps the muffler insides clean. (no pun intended http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/wink_smile.gif )

    RE: Problem with new DLE55RA

That is a good way to mod the carb. Just forget about the film canister part which only approaches the static tubes, and connect it to real static tubes.

    RE: Problem with new DLE55RA

Fit a carb reference tube to the carb regulator section and connect it to a static device; static tube or static port. Then tune the carb.

    RE: Mounting a DLE-35RA

The other hole that lets air in is in the cowling front!!!!??? If not, no larger FW opening would be required, but some fuselage vents would be needed instead.
