    Proyak 47 wing tubes

    Hello,
I recently moved back to France and the 2 fiberglass wing tubes of my OMP Proyak 47 have been lost.
Is it possible to purchase new ones? Or, could you tell me the size of the wing tubes ?...

    Hi,
Could someone tell me why people use fibreglass cowls instead of the aluminium cowls provided?

If I remember correctly, crutches aren't the same size to create the thrust angle.
So, I would go with the last option too.

It was also marked as discontinued on the Tower Hobby website in 2010. That 's why I'm not so sure about it.

    RE: TF Spitfire build

The thing I learnt with the TF Spitfire is to keep the tail as light as possible.
The DLE 20 is certainly a good way to go and to counterbalance the tail.

This is definitely a plane which flies on its wings, not on the engines. Steep turns are OK, but not at slow speed. I use the flaps on the final approach to not land too fast. One time, I was way...

    Hi,
3- Yes, foaming the wing or adding carbon rods (as seen in some previous posts) to strenghten the wings is not useless. Wings seems to be the weak point of this plane.
