Hi Gary, thanks for your reply, no I haven't found a cylinder or two for Quadra 35's (I've two of them, way low on compression even though I put new rings), do you think you have any that is still...

RE: My Caudron Simoun

The struts are Robart's, the kind that fits the landing gear wire (1/4 inch) into, secured by hex bolts.

Sorry, I don't have photos of the pants while they were being made. The pants are...

RE: My Caudron Simoun

Thanks Flyer! The pants were made of balsa wood and plywood on the sides, then they were fiberglassed, both inside and outside, the part that goes on the top were made of fiberglass and carbon fiber,...

My Caudron Simoun

Thought scale builders would enjoy my finished version of the Caudron Simoun C 635. (I only saw pics by one French modeller, but have never seen this aircraft modelled anywhere at any time)

...

RE: quadra cylinder needed

I've parts for the Q35, besides, the muffler that I'm using on the "35's has different holes locations than the Q 41, this engine is on a scale airplane and fits like a glove, I'd hate to do changes...

RE: Rise of Flight?

If you have a good (newer PC) with a good graphica card, go for it! This sim is superbly done and is always being updated and maintained, although I must admit, it's become a little more involved...

RE: Kadet Senior available at Nitroplanes

Or you can get mine, it you want a Kadet Sr. out of the ordinary.
Check the classified section, put the word Kadet on the search feature if you'd like to see some pics.

Can't upload photos, moderators please!

I've been using the classified section for many years now, for some reason I can't upload pictures (regardless of size) in the market listings, can't find any help regarding this issue either, never...

RE: Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun ARF from Global/ VQ

This thread has been going on for a while, I'd like to hear from those pilots that have flown this airplane during the hot summer months, how has the covering held up? I've had airplanes with this...

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito

I believe you're right, I've just noticed that the fairing of the nacelles on top of the wing is different, specs state this wing to be foam sheeted with balsa, fuse seems to be pretty much the same...

RE: DeHavilland Mosquito

Hey guys is the Mosquito model you've being talking about (and flying and crashing) the same one that is advertised on the For Sale Market page for $ 189.00, seems like the same one to me (although...

RE: Hangar 9 1/4 Scale Piper Cub ARF???

Hi Bill, by watching the videos it seems to me that you're not doing a proper take off run with the Cub. I've flown many J-3's and they all need to build up flying speed with the tail up in the air...

RE: Hobby People Cap 10, question?

Hi Eric, sorry it took me this long to answer your question. Unfortunately I haven't had time to build the Cap, a move across the country has set my modeling time to almost nothing. Best of luck with...

RE: Hangar 9 1/4 Scale Piper Cub ARF???

I second the above opinion, on turns rudder is the basic control and actually opposite aileron is required in order to keep the wings at a minimum bank, more like the full scale. I've never coupled...

RE: Bashing of the Kadet Seniors

I actually moved the firewall to 0, this way if you need after initial flights to adjust the thrust it would be easy to slip a couple of washers between mount and firewall.

RE: Bashing of the Kadet Seniors

The wing incidence of the stock version is much more than 1 deg. positive, that's what makes trainers such floaters (coupled to a flat bottom high lift airfoil), if you bring the total wing incidence...

RE: Bashing of the Kadet Seniors

Looks very good, ailerons are perfect, don't forget to decrease dihedral to no more than an inch to inch and a half (measuring under the wingtips), this will make your ailerons more effective during...
