RE: Monokote over silk and dope?

Thanks for the help. I wanted to use a Monokote finish because of the shine. I have always found dope to be a little on the dull side. I am pretty good at silk and dope from years ago but have...

I have two old VK Cherokees that my father built in the 60's that are covered with silk and dope. One plane I currently fly and the other plane was never finished. The wing is sheeted and covered...

Actually it is a little difficult to remove the batteries in Futaba 4VF and 6XAS transmitters. In addition, the little white plug that is used in these transmitters is not very durable. After...

Pico Fuse

You may want to use a pico fuse and leave the diode in place. I have done this on five transmitters so far. Works great!

Which battery Charger, Alpha 4, Hughes, or Schulze

What do you think about the Hughes RC 4 output charger? No switches, no programming, no need to cycle. Is this too good to be true?

"The CHARGE +, model TX/RX4S1A, is a 4 output 1 amp per output...

Longevity of airplanes

I have a VK Cherokee that I flew with my father in the mid 60's. I can't say how many flights we made on it back then but I know that we flew it for several years. About two years ago I started...

I need clarification about flat rate sevice charges

I have several 4VF systems and a 6XAS system. Will the same polyswitch work in all of these? Exactly what switch should I order and what is it's rating?

Thank you.

12v power supply problem

I used an 1154 and wired both sides. I get only 11.75 volts. On another PS I tried a 10ohm 10 watt resister and got 11.89 volts. What is the magic of getting 12 volts or more?

Polyswitch

How about the size of the polyswitch? One of the other posts says to use 2A. That seems very large.

Have you ever flown at 107th and Manheim (route 45) about 15 miles southwest of Chicago?

Location of polyswitch

I have read the posts concerning using a polyswitch instead of jumping the transmitter diode. Exactly where does the polyswitch go? What size polyswitch should be used?

Thanks.
