    RE: Which Truggy for Christmas?

Wait for the Mugen MBX6T. That would make a nice X-Mas present. I expect it under my tree.

    RE: .28 vs. .21

Man, I've tried a few engines in the truggy but why does this Mach 427 keep making it's way back? I'm a firm believer in the Mach. Now if someone could put a wicked mod on the Mach 427 we'd have...

Wow JB Comp, in a month you've really become a believer (and expert) in the 0% nitro thing. I'm impressed. :D

I'm not finding the bearing sizes on the Mach 427. I'm thinking maybe ceramics. :)

RE: Whats the Best .27 or .28

The Mach 427, Mach 26 (not SS), and the Sportwerks 26 are good engines (all the same engine) but they are all .26's, NOT .27s or .28s. Although for the money, you can't beat these engines.

    RE: Offical Mugen MBX5T thread

Man, I hope we're not too far away from the MBX6T. I can't wait. Many think it'll come shortly after the buggy. 1 month? 2 months? 6 months?

RE: Best tires for loosing track?

I'm with 2D. My Panther Gators 38 series (on LPR wheels) soft/med compound have been by far the best truggy tire I've run. I think they'd do very well at your track.

    RE: New Tamiya Truggy

Hey Nik, I appreciate the post! I wasn't aware of Tamiya's latest truggy. Unlike some spoiled brat wanna-be expert with a bad attitude, I appreciate the fact that you've posted pics. ;)

    RE: Different Clutch Shoes

I mix my shoes up too. I use Dynamite Max Life's, Mugen carbon/plastic, and Mugen teflons.
  12. RE: Hobby affected by high gas price, unemployment??

Europeans pay less for (actual) gas than Americans. Americans aren't taxed nearly as much on gas. But, we (Americans) pay more for the actual gasoline.

RE: Go Tech 7p for Losi Eight Buggy

Yeah, I have the OS .21 VG and put that carb on my GO 7 Port. I've been through 2 GO carbs. I think they need to work on that department. I believe the Losi HT pipe is a midrange pipe much like...
  14. RE: Ofna Chrome Top 10250 with Losi Eight Buggy

I use the Ofna chrome top with my 8ight. I have the Race Roller and didn't dremel anything. I have to set my 8ight almost all the way over to one side but it works good, no problems. If I didn't...

Ouch! That engine takes a turbo plug. Try a P3. How did you pull that off?

RE: is the O.S 21vg a good engine?

Just buy the 3 port Go Tech engine for $125. I've read nothing but good things about it.

RE: Official Thread for the Go 21 Engine

Ok, a little update. I threw on the carb from my old OS 21 VG and it cut the temps down a bunch. I let the GO rip up and down the street for a while and leaned it out to a decent tune. The highest...

RE: is the O.S 21vg a good engine?

Mine lasted 2 gallons tops. Why they went to a "new advanced bi-metallic liner" I'll never know. But OS has to know that they have longevity issues with this motor (after all my emails). ...

RE: Official Thread for the Go 21 Engine

RE: Official Thread for the Go 21 Engine

Hey guys, the OS P6 should be fine for the turbo 7 port right? It was the only hot plug the LHS had. It fits fine correct?
  25. RE: Help with charging 12v starter box batt.

You sure can. :D I've been using my battery tender that I bought for my Harley and it does a great job.
