everything in and out of the transmission is new except the cam. So I will try that next, and another new bearing. I thought about making the cam a little rough where the one way rides so it grips...

There will be two of those Lipos in the boat wired in series to present a 8s load. That is what H&M said to run for the setup. I am glad to hear you had good success with this hull! Thanks
