    RE: Charlottesville Racers Thread

You've noticed the team-corr.com site is gone. The domain name is still OK so it must be the hosting that gone. It was free and it was good but it seems the owner decided to cancel the free hosting....

RE: Xray 808 or Xray XB8 EC

Keep the 808. It's current and much easier to get parts for.
I've got the EC and it's a really nice car but partds are getting hard to find, at least in the US. Maybe it's different in Europe.

    RE: Jammin JPX .21 Questions

Carbon build-up is normal. Thwere is absolutely no need to get a new piston/liner because of it. Any fuel with any amount of castor oil will create a carbon build-up.

RE: Can these engines be saved/repaired??

It's worth as shot for sure. Hopefully it's mostly gummed up fuel and rust.

Dump them in a bucket of WD-40 as they are now (remove O-rings forst) to get rid of old fuel and to get rid of most of...

RE: normal vs turbo head and plug

Both are as easy/difficult to tune as ther other.
In real life you will not notice the difference.
Turbo plugs are supposed to give a few hundred rpm up top. In reality, who drives WOT all the...

RE: Engine Bearing Regular Bearings OK?

Actually there are no 'RC' bearings. It's just rebadged 'regular' bearings from major bearing manufacturers.

    RE: Moki Engines

This brings back memories. I used to run MOKI .40 and .90 Marine engines back in the '90s.
Ran great and I still have 1 or two .90s tucked away.
Does anyone know if there are spares to be had for...

    Terminology is key.
Since you said 'transfer ports' I automatically assumed you acually meant the transfer ports and not the boost port.

Sure. But once again, correct terminology makes...
