Make yourself a set of "runners" for the bottom . ( hint - think of figure skate runners when making them - without the front grips . and NOT too tall either - no more than 1/4 inch tall)

It will be TOO heavy and TOP heavy as well . The ass end will sit WAY down in the water and have a hard time planing , it will porpoise , and the torque...

I have done inverted gassers . the only drawback I know of is they get flooded a LOT easier on first startup , and accomodating the header/exhaust pipe CAN be a chore just in itself !

Paint = thats an easy one - any shaker can that is fuel proof ( usually any of the ones that you will find at an auto parts store - just be sure to buff , or remove the old paint first )
