I know a racing clutch will improve performance, but what does this mean?

I use the second hole with the first cut off. The first just didn't seem quick enough for me. The second hole seemed perfect so I didn't even bother with the third.

the engine itself doesn't make any given car the fastest. It has more to do with the mods. and the person who tunes the engine. More info is needed to answer your question. Kind of sounds like a newb...

I used the paper trick for a while till I learned to eyeball it. Peace of cake! Loctite's a great idea. I've lost tons of bolts before I realized they wouldn't stay in on their own.

You want the opening to be about 1mm wide like kevetz99 said. you should have the idle screw set so that when you let off the gas it closes to the 1mm setting also you want it to stay at that 1mm...

My point exactly. It was cool since I was the only one with a right hand drive civic around where I live but I still didn't like the fact that it was a civic. too many of them but I love the engines....

Are you sure you adjusted the idle screw correctly? When your car is idleing how far open is the hole in the carborator? If it's not any of these then I can't help. I've never heard of this problem....

Flywheel might increase speed a little but it wouldn't be a huge difference. The clutch on the other hand will. The clutch was the first thing I upgraded since it was so cheap. I use HPI's racing...

Oh no... It cost aroud $85,000 to import an R34 skyline into the States not to mention that you still have to pass the smog test and show proof (to customs) that your car can pass the saftey...

Cutting out bodies

Yeah my friend uses a dremel tool for his bodies. They look flawless. I don't have a dremel so I opted to use a circle cutter. Someday I'll own a dremel though. You can use them for everything.
