so far the only two props i have tached on the engine are the 17x4w apc and the 16x6 dynathrust (dont know much about the prop). The 17x4w turned 8700 rpms on the ground but made the engine sound...

ok so how does this sound, order a menzS 16x6, apc 16x6, xoar 16x6 and if those dont work ill get a graupner 16x6 if im able to find one. Now i just need to find a retailer that carries those three...

also the 16x6 i was using is a dynathrust, buddy of mine had it kicking around ive never personally seen one before. It instan trottle from 1800 to 9200 in a split second, has good vert performance...

well its on a u can do 3d 60 size so more thrust than speed, i found with the 17X4 it just really flew way too slow for my taste, just having to fly at between half and 3/4 throttle for comfortable...

well i ended up going with a 17x4w apc and i have to say i cant wait to get this puppy in the air. Just from breaking in this engine with it, it feels a huge difference from the old engine prop...

out of all the MA props i have used i have always switched to apc after the first flight with it, they flex too much and loose thier pull. I had a 13X6 on a p-51 and i felt like i was flying at 1/4...

well if you get 9700 with that prop then i think i would be fine with a 17 4w on it since i dont like going over 9300 on my 4strokes.

i just won one of these from a fun fly, cant wait to replace my 46 ax with it, couple oz lighter and more power. wow 10,300 with apc 13X6, thats more than my supertigre 90 2stroke is getting.
