I have not tried the odorless type yet I'm nervous it will cause the same reaction and I really don't want that again. Has anyone else used the odorless type?

The evolution you are trying to tune is a good engine don't throw it away. You need to remove the high speed and low speed limiters. They do not let you properly tune the engine. Do a search on here...

Thanks for that info my receiver is a spectrum ar500 and it doesn't have a flap port but it does ave two aileron ports. Could that be the problem?
