RE: If a treasurer of an AMA club were to steal a large amount of money, what action should take place?

The newspaper article says, "A report says $5,586 in checks went to Spindle's two daughters as gifts."

What made them think they were entitled to cash checks from an airplane club? They didn't...

RE: OS 91 FX problem

The metal needle valve housing was replaced by the newer plastic one due to difficulties with the metal one. Do you perchance have the older metal one?

RE: What color is the most visible in the air?

High contrast works very well but I'm not a fan of red. At any distance it fades out to grey and then further away is almost invisible. On a small plane like this I wouldn't do red.

The neon...

RE: Stainless steel or ceramic bearings for my Saito?

Am I getting old an senile or did Paul from RC-Bearings not join a past thread to say that stainless were made to be in the same "hardness range" as the standard bearings? . . . and that any...

RE: Copyright Issues when re-designing an

Courts have held that a 20% change is a completely different item. If none of your parts interchange you have certainly met that. The name should change by at least that much too.

With airplanes...

RE: Copying Plans - Copyright???

The general principle is that you can't deny the legitimate holder of the rights, any possible sales of the item. They have already sold it to you so make copies to your heart's content. But you...

RE: Should moderators watch more closely for the same topic covered a dozen times?

I've been on other forums on other subjects where the moderators were heavy handed about deleting "redundant" threads and it isn't all that pleasant to live with.

RE: Mounting NiCd's to starter?

I would use seven cell packs if I did this again mounting them sideways rather than on top of each other.

RE: Disappointed in Bridi Utter Chaos

These kits have the original Bridi directions which are not all that good. Bridi's planes flew well but his writing skills left something to be desired. I had a friend build one last year and was...

RE: Making fiberglass cowls from this plastic ABS crap..

There is a halfway measure that might be suitable especially for another person's plane. You can fiberglass the inside of an ABS cowl making it much more durable with minimal work. [8D]

RE: Are AM radios still allowed???

Some of the receivers shipped during that time period were wide band even though the transmitter met narrow band requirements. You need to check the model number on the Futaba web site. They have a...

RE: Cleaner for engine exterior

Possibly it is difficult to find because of it's appearance and what we expect it to look like. It is in a deep blue opaque plastic spray bottle that is smaller than a Windex bottle. I found it with...

RE: Balsa sheeting over foam delaminating, any help?
