RE: Hobby Warehouse (Sky Hobbies) Closing

That's too bad.

Jeremy and Tom are great guys that know their r/c equipment. The shop was competitively priced to meet the internet sites. The swap meets were a nice addition also. I wonder...

RE: GP 60 Size Extra Build

The airplane flies great!

I've got close to 20 flights on it already and am very happy with it. The OS .91 is plenty of engine for my style. It doesn't have unlimited vertical but it will go...

Sig Hog Bipe - As you can see I'm not quite ready to fly it yet!

Building season has slowed down here in Minnesota - should start back up when the snow flies.

It flew very...

For my TF 1/7th P-47 kit I'm considering using the recommended Robart 606HD 85 degree HD mains with 3/16" wire and the Robart 650 straight RoboStrut 3/8".

What other accessories do I need to...

RE: TF 1/7th P-47

Thanks for the info Fast Richard - I've built quite a few kits (including the TF 1/7 Corsair which should be similar to the P-47) but still enjoy reading build threads prior to my actual build to see...

Can the 60 size Top Flite P-47 be built as either the razorback or the bubble canopy or are there 2 different kits?

Also, is there a good build thread out here someone can point me to?

RE: GP 60 Size Extra Build

For an engine - I purchased an OS .91 Surpass 2. A number of people have used larger engines so I'm hoping this will be enough motor for the airplane.

Now all that's left is to finish painting...
