Very nice flying. Great take off and landing. I wish more people would use right rudder on take off like you did. Numerous videos of this plane on YouTube show the plane veering sharply to the left...

My e-mail sent to Syssa Aircraft last night has bounced back this morning, so it appeared Syssa is no longer valid. This is unfortunate because their 30cc rear exhaust will work great with custom...

The fuselage is one-piece fiberglass rounding out at the front to form the firewall. Therefore, it would be very difficult and time consuming to move the firewall back 12mm. See the attached...

Thanks. I'm unable to find the dimensions for the PTE 36cc rear exhaust. The Evra/Ryobi 31cc looks huge. The NGH 35 rear exhaust is too long at 180.4mm from front of drive washer to rear of...

Any 25cc or 26cc Rear Exhaust Gas Engine?

I'm looking for an ideal gas engine for the ESM/YT ME-109E 73" span, weighing around 12 lbs dry when done. It has a narrow cowl, and distance from firewall to front of engine drive washer is 148mm...

Everything from the front of the cowl to the rear of the canopy looks pretty good though, including the cowl and the canopy. After the canopy, things begin to take a wrong turn as if the tail...

Apologies if a side view overlay has been posted, but attached is a scale drawing of an A8 placed on top of your side pic to show the differences. I would rather add nose weight to keep the side...

Got this thing all figured out :) I slowly closed the high speed needle valve until max rpm was reached, 11,400 rpm on an MA 14x6 prop, then backed it out around 90-degree per break in instruction...

OS GGT15 High Speed Needle Valve Tuning

I'm breaking in my new OS GGT15 gas engine on the bench in the backyard using 20:1 gas to oil mix. The instruction manual states:

What does this mean? Can I still tune it like any ordinary...

RE: Kyosho Corsair - Videos Inside

I still have mine. It has CJ air retracts, OS .91FS in the nose, and it's now at 9 lbs 0.2 oz. Yet, it still flies and lands great. No bad habits.

RE: does all p51's do this?

Below are some videos showing me taking off my H9 Mustang. My CG is at 4.5" back from the LE next to the fuselage (4 - 3/4" is too far back).

RE: does all p51's do this?

That's pretty much normal with the H9 Mustang. It's a balancing act. Throttle/elevator management is key and will become second nature. I have my 16-oz tank on the CG, which helps during take off.

RE: Robart 550rs Retracts

Both the 550's and the 551's are great retracts. No slop and no set screws needed for the RS models. Just insert oleo struts and tighten the collars. I've been using a set of 551RS in my Mustang...

RE: GAS Saito

I'm surprised Slimline doesn't already make a muffler for the Saito 220. I would think any mufflers for the Saito 220 would fit the FG-36.

RE: KMP F8-F Bearcat

Thanks. The actual measurement from the firewall to the prop drive washer would be great if you could give that to me.

RE: Glue Question

I use Plasti-ZAP CA if I need a quick, strong bond. I discovered that model plastic cements do not work well with the plastic used on most tanks.
