RE: Twist 3D 150 ARF

Just chiming in: Still flying my Twist 150. She has been through a minor crash that required landing gear repair. Other than that she is still my primary airplane and lives 100% of the time in the...

RE: What's up with Servocity.com?

In the past SC has been opened for haggling over a multiple servo purchase. When I first purchased servos for my 1/3rd Scale Christen Eagle I emailed them and they gave me a significant (greater...

RE: Twist 3D 150 ARF

Unfortunately, when you break this airplane 99% of the time it is NOT the wing.

RE: SHRIKE CLUB # 1

I have the 40-size kit, still in a box. It is a Lanier product and they, as a norm, do not provide full hardware with their kits; the kit's wood is of high quality and laser cut. Contrary to the...

RE: SHRIKE CLUB # 1

Yeh, it will take the OS SF .60 I have but, frankly, I don't think it will add more enjoyment to my flying experience. The Webra already gives me a jet-like performance; adding a few more mph with...

RE: SHRIKE CLUB # 1

This Webra Speed 40 was originally installed in my Pilon Racer and is rock-solid reliable. It has never failed me and typically requres no starter, not even when stone cold.

RE: SHRIKE CLUB # 1

Hi All,

Been a member of the Shrike club without knowing it for several years. I have both the Shrike 40 ARF and a new-in-box Shrike 40 Kit.

One of the things I like about this plane is it...

RE: Twist 3D 150 ARF

Torque and speed are more than sufficient for this airplane. The only downside to the 605 is it's lousy centering. It does not return back to the same spot very well. This makes it OK for this...

RE: Twist 3D 150 ARF

How is the quality of the switch mechanism itself and when you installed it did you give the switch enough room to completely open and close (look at your cutout closely could movement of the switch...

RE: Twist 3D 150 ARF

Given the nature of the maneuver just before you lost it my guess is your cheap switch did you in. Been there, done that, but not is a very long while. The most important assembly item to me is the...

Personal experience: OS FX1.60 with sports muffler and an 18x6W APC and she accelerates to a pinpoint straight up.

3 Rates for 10C?

You did'nt like the way I worded this before so I will try it a little differently.

The Futaba 9C has the ability to have their 2-position rate switches (airlon, elevator, and rudder) changed...

RE: 3 Rates on 10C?

This was a technical question for Futaba support personnel and originally placed in the Futaba support forum why was it moved to the general area?

Let me refraise the question:

If you wire...

3 Rates on 10C?

Radio South provides a service to change out the 2-position elevator, airlon, and rudder rate switches for 3-position switches and the 9C already has the built in circuitry and programming to support...

RE: Futaba 10C is HERE!

I know the answer has been aluded to in both discussions and the 10C manual but here's my question anyway.

Can I take the synth module out of my 9C and install it on the 10C; if so do I need to...

RE: Twist 3D 150 ARF

You'll get the plane off the ground barely with the 91. That's about it. It won't be enough to take advantage of the Twist 150's main functionality. It'll probably be like a trainer with that...

RE: ultra stick as a second plane

How does a Saito fall apart. I can't picture that in my mind. I too had one with a Saito FA-100 and that combination was the ultimate for that bird. I ran mine with a 15x6 after breaking in the...

RE: Twist 3D 150 ARF

Roger on the EXPIRATION DATE. I may be getting close to mine.

It seams the more I fly this pupply the more frequent my close call dumb thumbs become. So far, so good.

I have three 40-size...

RE: ultra stick as a second plane

Yes!!! Given your configuration you need to have the patience you will be richly reworded. NOTE: Saitos also need a valve adjustment after the 1st hour or so of running. When it starts to surge...

RE: ultra stick as a second plane

Saitos come from the factory with SUPER rich setting on the idle adjust screw. Follow the instructions to adjust it. You will find it takes quite a bit of turning-in before it settles in all of...

RE: ultra stick as a second plane

I don't agree that the Ultra Stick is a perfect 2nd plane. It is a good first plane (realy good instructor needed), a perfect 2nd plane, a perfect 3rd plane, a perfect nth plane. I don't care how...
