I have to agree with all of you. One on the best "fun fly" contest planes at our club. Last one sold to make room for an electric version to be built this winter. BTW, it flies just fine even on a...

Once you rejected the offer, the offering member was notified, freeing them of their obligation to buy your item. If you were allowed to "un-do" your action, the member who made the offer would then...

RE: Unidentified Yellow Bipe!

It is a Goldberg part #462. I did my initial look on TH too and found nothing. My search through my "parts box" proved more rewarding. Apparently TH no longer carries this part.

RE: Unidentified Yellow Bipe!

Jim,

What did you use to mount the Interplane struts? According to the build article, Cunningham called for "90 degree mounts". My plane just has screw holes where the mounts used to be. I can't...

RE: Unidentified Yellow Bipe!

I think this place was touted as being a "sport" plane, so I'm not expecting to "hang on the prop". The reality is that I will probably put whatever 40 sized engine fits into the already drilled...

RE: Unidentified Yellow Bipe!

I'm figuring on an OS 40 FP I have laying around. They run great, are light, and seem to have more power than their modern day 40 LA "equivalent".

RE: Unidentified Yellow Bipe!

I'm looking at the February 1979 issue of RCM, and I agree, it definitely looks like a sporty ace. Looks like the model name on my radio will be "SportyAce". I don't know how I missed it when I...

Morris Hobbies GEE-Whiz-BEE

I managed to obtain a ratty set of plans for this plane, but no assembly manual. While the plane can be built from the plans. it would be easier if I had...

RE: Polk Tracker III Documentation?

Seems to be a site-wide problem. I've escalated the issue, hopefully it will be resolved soon. In the meantime, I did just send you an email via google.

Thanks.

Unidentified Yellow Bipe!

I recently picked up a bunch of planes from someone getting out of the hobby, and this cute little bipe was in the mix. It looks to be a "25" to 40" sized plane, with both wings measuring 48" with an...

Polk Tracker III Documentation?

Does anyone have a manual for this transmitter? I recently acquired one and would like to use it for some of my legacy 72 MHz planes. The problem is that it did not come with a manual, and it appears...

RE: Gremlin Launcher?

A slow underhand toss works fine for me. Both for my Electric and .40 glow versions. Both take off like a bat out of you know where!

From context, I believe what is being referred to here is Tower Hobbies/Great Planes.

BTW, I would vote for the Hobbico Avistar too. I've owned about (7) of them, and regret selling (6) of them...

RE: Please help me identify this 25 + year old plane

David,

I just got a "short kit" with plans for this plane, but not the accompanying construction article. Any chance you could scan me a copy and send it to my email? Again, I have the plans,...

RE: Help Help Search the plans to build F-6F HELLCAT Ziroli

As has been pointed out by others, asking people for a copy of the plans is an illegal activity in the United States. These plans are covered under U.S. copyright law, and anyone who assists you in...

RE: KMP Bf-110 Nothing like Twins

Let's keep the discussion to the initial topic please. As pointed out, this thread was not started nor should it become a general discussion on the state of ARF's in this hobby.

Thank-you.

RE: Decals with Crikit machine.

Based on David's "recommendation" above, I decide to purchase a Silhouette unit too. Seems to work well with Monokote Trim sheets, but you still need to use the include "carrier" to keep the blade...
