Did you check the glow plug to see if the element was missing? If you get too lean it can melt and leave deposits on the top of the piston and also score the side of the piston. I have seen this...

I have a YS fz 63 that had an issue and it was replaced no questions asked. both engines (ran) run great. you have to set it up properly and break it in properly or you will have problems. nothing...

Ray, I threw a DX-7 in one of my 424 planes. tested it at markham it flew great, however I did get a glitch in the NE corner of the field once. Im changing the rest over to DX-7 before mullberry.

cycle optic6 transmitter battery?

I have tried to cycle my OPTIC 6 transmitter battery with a hobbico accu-cycle elite, but it wont cycle. Is there a diode in the transmitter that prevents this? If so what do you suggest.

minimum receiver batt size for DX7

I have read that the servos (digital) used with the DX7 use alot of battery power. If this true what is the minimum MHa in a NIcad or NMHi battery I can use? I plan on useing the radio for 424...

Not being familer with JR radios I assume then that the JR charge/test cords are wired with center being NEG for transmitters? what about receiver batterys? Or do I need to buy JR receiver batterys...

I missed the first day of 424 due to a root canal on thursday, but got to race saturday and sunday( got 2nd and fastest time on Sun.)

I just use PERMATEX FORM A GASKET. I use it also on the two muffler halves and have not had a muffler (or back half) fall off since. If it did come off it was from high speed VS the ground!!

Correct me if Im wrong, but I believe the 424 version has a foam core wing(I saw one at Jedburg). I fly SEMPRA so I guess if I get one it will be for fun.
